Foundation 529 is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing our youth with the top of the line safety equipment. We help to educate youth riders and others about the importance of wearing proper safety equipment at all times. We donate Arai helmets and Leatt neck braces to riders under the age of 18.

We started our foundation after we lost our son, Wyatt Mason Barto to a motocross accident in February, 2008. Wyatt was in North Carolina practicing for the upcoming race season when his accident occurred. He sustained severe head trauma due to his crash and passed away from his injuries. We will never know if better equipment would have saved Wyatt, but we do know that we don’t want anyone to have to suffer the loss of a child, regardless of the reason.
